Diversity & Inclusion College of Arts & Letters Development of a Coordinator for Diversity Equity & Inclusion Formation of a Diversity Equity and Inclusion Committee with a representative from each department Development of Recruitment and Selection Practices for all departments to diversify applicant pools, increase sustainable and equitable search practices that are applicant centered Implementation of the Recruitment and Selection Practices Guidelines starting in Fall 2022 by working with search committee chairs to provide inclusive options for interviews Identification of much needed mentoring allocations for networking opportunities across the college Hosting 13 departments, CAL is the largest and most diverse college at UNG and has been hard at work developing measures to increase inclusivity and equity at the faculty/staff level to better serve our students. For this academic year, we have focused our attention on developing a formalized mentoring program. We are gathering feedback from all CAL faculty and finalizing our process.
