The mission of the Office of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving is alumni engagement through programming that targets their time, talent and treasure. We work to create meaningful experiences that remind alumni of the value of their degree and the impact their time at UNG had on their lives which we hope will encourage alumni to engage with their alma mater. We are challenged daily to remember that a recent graduate has very little in common with someone who graduated in the 1950’s, but our charge remains the same for both groups. Events like Photos with Santa Claus at the Alumni House tend to appeal to a wider audience. It also allows us to build those critical relationships with faculty and staff necessary to achieve our mission. So many alumni have fond memories of the impact a particular faculty or staff member had on their experience at North Georgia. It’s our job to remind everyone the role they play in changing lives.
