IFC VALUES SERVICE One of the most rewarding aspects of fraternity membership is the opportunity to be involved with community service and philanthropic projects. Working on these philanthropic projects and events not only benefits worthy causes, but also fosters personal growth and greater unite among our members. SCHOLARSHIP Our fraternities pride themselves on academic success. Each chapter offers a wide range of support and assistance to its members, including: incentives and awards, time management and study skill workshops, and tutoring and mentoring programs. LEADERSHIP Joining a fraternity or sorority at UNG can open a vast range of leadership possibilities and enable a student to experience profound personal development and growth. ENDURING FRIENDSHIPS One of the most cherished aspects of being involved in a fraternity are the friendships that are made with people who share your interests and your values. Involvement in a fraternity gives members an opportunity to expand their circle of friends, because brotherhood is the foundation of the experience.
Why Recruitment? ZYLER CRANE - VP RECRUITMENT This past semester, I served as my chapter’s Recruitment Vice President, and it was a really engaging experience that helped me grow my communication and leadership skills. I feel like, as Recruitment VP for IFC, I can help set a positive image for new members by showing what Greek life is really about and how it can help shape people into strong, successful individuals. Being in a fraternity has taught me the importance of brotherhood and building lasting relationships, but it’s also helped me become more professional when working with businesses and other organizations. To me, a fraternity is about developing future leaders. Overall, I’m confident that being part of a Greek organization puts young men in a great position by strengthening their communication, leadership, and ability to build meaningful connections. zecran5420@ung.edu Zyler Crane
At UNG, our chapters understand that educations comes before everything else because it is the reason we are all here. We encourage you to be as involved as possible in your fraternity, as you gain leadership development and opportunities you may not receive elsewhere. With that being said, every chapter has relief when needed. Many chapters offer a limited amount of study cuts from mandatory events to help out sisters who need to focus on their school. Education First TIME COMMITMENT If you choose to fulfill a leadership position within your chapter OR on the IFC council you will be responsible for fulfilling those duties. Different positions require different amount of time; however, the least time consuming positions are typically on a chapter’s junior executive council. These positions are typically equal to adding one class to your schedule. Leadership Roles
