Training & Development Applications for the SLDP 2022-2023 cohort are now being accepted! As a state leadership institute, we are committed to the leadership development of our students AND employees. The SLDP is designed to build upon existing leadership competencies, and prepare the future leaders of UNG. The program targets employees who have been at UNG for a minimum of 2 years, and are presently in a supervisory role. Meetings are held the second Friday of each month from September-April, with topics including Know UNG, Prepare Self, Build Trust, Lead and Develop, Extend Influence, Communication, Positive Environment, and Get Results. Applicants will be selected by their respective cabinet members, with preference given to those in Director or Assistant Director, Dean or Assistant Dean, Department Lead, and Assistant Vice President roles.
