Why Recruitment? TESTIMONIALS FROM PANHELLENIC EXEC. ALLY FRELIGH - PANHELLENIC PRESIDENT “Coming to UNG I spent a lot of my first semester kind of alone and not really knowing where my place on campus would be. I was in choir with some amazing people when this girl who I had gotten super close to told me I should go through recruitment. In the past Greek life never interested me because I just didn't think I'd be able to find my community there, but against my better judgment I decided to register for recruitment and every single day since has been absolutely amazing. Throughout the process I was introduced to so many amazing women across all of the organizations and knew that no matter which organization I ran home to I had found friends everywhere. The Panhellenic community has allowed me to truly become my best self on this campus by pushing me to be a better leader, a better person and a better friend. I can't imagine my life without it.” NATALIE NIX - EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT “When I came to UNG my Freshman year I knew making friends and finding my group of people was going to be very easy. Fast forward to my sophomore year, the only friends that I had made were my two roommates and three girls in my chemistry class. My sister is an alumni in Greek life and talked me into going through recruitment. While going through recruitment, I met so many amazing girls! Some of my best friends to this day are girls that I went through recruitment with, even though we found different homes. My sorority sisters have been the biggest blessing me to. From my highs of getting into nursing school and getting a job to my lows of going through heartbreak, they have always been there to life me up. I can’t wait to see the friendship you all make when you find your home this weekend!”
