Leadership Positions If you choose to fulfill a leadership position within your chapter OR on the Panhellenic council you will be responsible for fulfilling those duties. Different positions require different amount of time; however, the least time consuming positions are typically on a chapter’s junior executive council (also could be named as chairwoman or committee heads). These positions are typically equal to adding 1.5 classes to your schedule. Positions on the Executive Council for your chapter or Panhellenic typically require more time than a junior executive position. These positions are typically adding 2 classes to your schedule. A position such as president typically adds around 3 classes to your schedule. General Body Member Once you have completed your new member process, you will become a general member. The duties of a general member consists of attending weekly chapter meetings, philanthropy events, and other mandatory events designated by the chapter. Some chapters have service hour requirements per semester required for every member. Being a general member in your sorority is equal to adding 1 class to your schedule Time Commitment Cont.
