Dr. Seawright is a board-certified Family Medicine physician and a 2009 graduate of North Georgia College and State University with a B.S. in biology and minor in chemistry. She completed medical school at Lincoln Memorial University – DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2013. She was commissioned into the United States Navy while in medical school and completed her Family Medicine residency at Naval Hospital Camp Lejuene in 2016. She served as staff physician at Naval Branch Health Clinic Kings Bay for four years. She achieved the rank of lieutenant commander and served a total of seven years active United States Naval service. Dr. Seawright opened her Direct Primary Care (DPC) practice, Whole Hart Wellness, in 2022 with a partner, fellow Nurse Practitioner Brittany Lewis. Dr. Seawright not only serves her local community as a physician, but as a member of the University of North Georgia Alumni Association, member of Rotary International, is a board member of Hart Life Pregnancy Care Center, and member of the American Board of Family Medicine. A Gainesville native, Ben was involved in Student Government, Student Activities Board, Commuter Council and Sigma Chi Fraternity while at UNG. He graduated in 2011 with a BBA in marketing and, along with a lifelong friend John Baxter (UNG alumnus), founded Deep Roots Landscape, LLC. He and his wife, Caroline, launched a non-profit organization in 2023, Hope for Hall. Their mission is to normalize disability through play, education, and technology. Ben serves his community philanthropically, through his participation in the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce Leadership Hall Program, having served on the Youth Leadership Hall County PAC team, and as a member of C12 (Christian Executive Coaching and Business Training group).
