THE NORTH STAR PROGRAM Be A Star The North Star award program is designed to recognize the exceptional efforts of individual staff members who go above and beyond in providing excellence, efficiency, and customer service. The program has grown tremendously since its inception in 2014. Over 100 North Star awards are typically awarded annually, and recipients receive a certificate and lapel pin as well as consideration for selection as our Annual North Star prize winner. Certificates and lapel pins are delivered through campus mail, and are often a surprise for recipients. Any employee, student, or community member can nominate a staff member via our online nomination form, found HERE.
