Arab AmericanWomen's Society of Georgia Cl i ck here for more i nformat i on about AAWSG AAWSG was established in 1985, in Atlanta, Georgia, for the purpose of educating about the diverse Arab cultures. The society offered Arabic language classes for adults and children, participated on annual basis in various educational and cultural events in the city, and presented several arts & culture exhibitions. In 2004, AAWSG became a partner in education with the Alif Institute of Atlanta, Georgia. On annual basis, AAWSG participates in the Atlanta Arab Festival hosted by the Alif Institute. The festival draws thousands of visitors each year. In addition, AAWSG cooperates with the Alif Institute in presenting several other educational and outreach programs.
