Inclusion The UNG mission includes the stated purpose to "develop students into leaders for a diverse and global society." By identifying and discussing challenges for underrepresented faculty members at our institution, this Teaching Circle provides its participants with an outlet for delving into our teaching practice and related professional development. As women of color who directly impact our UNG students, we utilize the TC to learn coping skills from each other, to share strategies for effective teaching, and to support each other in our endeavors to best prepare our students for our diverse environment within and outside of UNG.
