Qualifying Faculty/Staff can now pay for meal plans with Payroll Deduction. If using Payroll Deduction, meal plans must be signed up for before the end of the second week of February for Spring Semester. For 2021 the deadline will be Friday, February 12. Contact Dahlonega Card Services for the Meal Plan Payroll Deduction form. Outside of Payroll deduction meal plans can be purchased anytime during the semester. How it works: Employees paid monthly will have three deductions for the cost of the meal plan. Employees paid biweekly will have six deductions for the cost of the meal plan. After the end of the second week of September for Fall Semester or February for Spring Semester , all other Faculty/Staff Meal Plans will need to be paid in full and Payroll Deduction will be unavailable. If the employee leaves the university prior to the balance being paid in full, the remaining balance must be paid off prior to departure. Faculty/Staff Meal Plans are non-refundable. 8
